The 2024 Thrasher Magazine Skater of the Year and Florida-born, Jamie Foy, has made a name for himself in skateboarding with his heavy-hitting sendy style and ability to take on the street's most insane spots. Born in Deerfield Beach, Florida, he’s been a dominant force in the skate scene for years, earning Thrasher’s Skater of the Year in 2017 and 2024. His approach to skating is straightforward—just send.

The Jamie Foy x NB Numeric 480 takes inspiration from ‘80s and ‘90s basketball shoes, built to handle life on and off the board. FuelCell foam in the midsole provides a responsive, cushioned feel without losing board control. The reinforced toe cap is designed to withstand the wear and tear of constant skating, making it durable enough for heavy sessions. The upper combines suede, leather, and mesh, balancing toughness with breathability. Foy's 480 boasts a forest green and black colorway, with a white “N” outlined in red for contrast. A gum outsole keeps it classic, while the suede, leather, and mesh upper balances durability and breathability.

The 480 keeps things clean with a look that nods to vintage basketball sneakers, while still delivering everything needed for modern skateboarding. Clean and simple, Foy doesn’t overcomplicate sh*t, and neither does his colorway.
The New Balance Numeric x Jamie Foy 'FOY80' will be available in store and online 3/21 at 11AM EDT.
