Nike SB x CSEF Dunk Low Pro

In 2017, the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation (CSEF) was founded to create real opportunities for skateboarders outside of sponsorships and contests. The organization offers scholarships to skateboarders who want to pursue higher education, helping them cover tuition costs and continue building a future. Since launching, CSEF has supported skaters across the country and raised $90,000 in scholarship funds in 2024 alone. Their work continues to break the idea that skateboarding and education have to be separate.

The Nike SB x CSEF Dunk Low Pro brings attention to that mission through a design built around education, skating, and CSEF’s identity. The upper is made of white and black leather, with patent leather Swooshes that give a sharp contrast to the more traditional leather base. CSEF’s signature green and yellow colors are worked into the heel tab and the tri-color outsole, tying the shoe back to the foundation’s logo and visual style.

A slimmer tongue offers a classic Dunk Low Pro fit. Custom sockliner graphics, debossed artwork at the heel, and collegiate-style typography across the back of the shoe add small but noticeable academic details. A graduation tassel attaches through the top eyelet, and the shoe comes with an extra set of pencil-inspired laces. Beneath the surface, the Dunk hides an "eraser pink" wear-away underlayer designed to wear through over time through skating.

Every part of the shoe design connects back to CSEF without distracting from the fact that it’s still built to skate. It keeps the look and feel expected from a Dunk Low Pro while mixing in the right amount of custom storytelling through material choices, color blocking, and small, smart references.

The Nike SB x CSEF Dunk Low Pro will release in-store and online on May 1.
