One of the most highly anticipated collaborations of the year: The Nike SB x Verdy, introduces new colorways for two Nike SB silhouettes: the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro "Visty" and the Nike SB Air Max Ishod. Both pairs merge Nike’s commitment to performance and style with Verdy’s unique artistic vision. Verdy, a Japanese graphic artist and creative powerhouse, is renowned for his work with major brands, pop culture groups and streetwear icons, including Kenzo and BLACKPINK. His collaboration with Nike SB offers a fresh take on skate culture, blending his signature aesthetics with Nike's iconic silhouettes.

Who is VERDY?

Hailing from Osaka, Verdy’s journey began in the music scene, where he designed flyers and posters while studying at Osaka Design School. In 2008, he co-founded VK Design Works before moving to Tokyo in 2012, where he collaborated with BOUNTY HUNTER, an early Harajuku streetwear brand. His design “ANARCHY & PEACE,” a mix of rebellion and positivity, reflects the duality of his graphic style.

Verdy’s love for rock, punk, and skate culture fuels his creations. In 2016, he launched Wasted Youth, a skate-inspired brand, followed by Girls Don’t Cry in 2017, a personal tribute to his wife. Known for his ability to turn simple phrases into memorable logos, Verdy’s designs offer a nostalgic and personal touch, standing out from the boldness seen in mainstream streetwear. His collaboration with Nike SB continues to push the boundaries of art and skate culture.

Nike SB x Verdy Dunk Low Pro "Visty"

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro "Visty" by Verdy is a bold and playful reflection of the artist’s signature style. Inspired by Visty, Verdy’s plush character, the shoe flaunts an eye-catching design with green and pink fur across the tongue, toe box, side panels, and collars—mimicking the texture of Visty’s coat. The blue suede overlays and pastel pink leather Swoosh add depth to the vibrant color palette, while pastel yellow laces tie the design together in a fun, spring-ready look. Special graphic logos on the furry tongues further enhance the uniqueness of this release.

The Nike SB Air Max Ishod x Verdy collaboration brings a fresh, dynamic twist to Ishod Wair’s signature model. The shoe features a sleek, lightweight design that combines mesh and synthetic materials for breathability and comfort. The vibrant "Blue Gaze" and "Enamel Green" colorway, selected by Verdy, adds a bold pop to the streamlined silhouette. With a responsive Air Max unit in the heel, the shoe offers enhanced cushioning, making it a versatile option for both skateboarding and everyday wear.

IN-STORE RAFFLE:

• When: Friday, September 13th - Wednesday, September 18th
• Winners will be called or messaged on Thursday September 19th from the shop.
• Winners will have until end of day (8PM EDT) Sunday, September 22nd to pick up and pay for their shoes. Any leftover shoes will be re-raffled the following day.
• Have your ID and winning ticket with you when you come to pick up and pay.

ONLINE RAFFLE:

• You must live in the United States or Puerto Rico to enter.
• When: Wednesday, September 18th
• Time: 2:00PM EDT
• A link to the sign-up page will be attached to the {top of this blog at sign up time.}
• The raffle will be accepting sign-ups for 5-10 MINUTES MAX or until we hit our desired threshold of entries so make sure to get online and enter quickly! 
• Winners will be sent an invoice for the shoes and signature shipping from info@drifthouse.com on Thursday, September 19th
• Winners will have until end of day Sunday, September 22nd to pay for their shoes. Any remaining shoes will be re-raffled.
